I offer one-on-one and small-group academic tutoring instruction in: History, Science, Literature, Math and English Language Arts for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Subject offerings are determined based on student needs, enrollment, and instructor availability, allowing each group or student schedule to be tailored to the most appropriate areas of instruction. (subjects covered are non-sectarian).
My services are designed to support homeschooling families by providing targeted academic instruction in a supportive and encouraging environment and as an enrichment to supplement the education that is already being provided at home.
At the Walker Learning Collective, Ms. Walker provides small-group or one-on-one tutoring for grades Pre-K through 5 th grade.
Our courses are designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, comprehensive, and foundational, with instruction that may incorporate elements of the Grammar Stage of classical education, emphasizing the development of knowledge, understanding, and essential academic skills.
Out-of-pocket payment is accepted. Charter funds may be accepted upon completion of vendor approval
Serving the Whittier area. Location is mutually agreed upon between the instructor and each family based on group size or one-on-one instruction.
